Inherently elderly people often face a higher susceptibility to scams due to a combination of factors stemming from their life circumstances and generational characteristics.

Moreover, technology has advanced rapidly in recent years, but not all seniors have had the same exposure or familiarity with it. Lack of tech proficiency makes them more prone to falling victim to online scams, phishing attempts, or fraudulent calls, as they may not readily recognize the warning signs.

Another critical factor is their trusting nature. Growing up in a time when trust was more prevalent, they may be more inclined to believe others, especially if the scammer appears friendly or persuasive.
