Bannister In Home Care is always looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, motivated people to join our care team.

While we have some basic essential criteria – such as

  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Current National Police check or willingness to obtain
  • Current and valid NSW driver’s licence and fully comprehensive vehicle insurance
  • Current work rights in Australia
  • Mobile phone and internet

We will always seek people with current or recent experience but we also encourage people who have life skills and feel that they would find providing in home care a rewarding experience to contact us.

Many of our positions are casual or part time with flexible hours that would suit Mums with children at school or people who have recently retired and would like to remain active in the workplace.

We also greatly value personal experience gained through caring for a loved one. Perhaps the person you were caring for no longer needs your support – you may like to use your experience to help others.

While qualifications in Aged Care and or Home and Community Services are highly regarded – they are not a mandatory requirement.

We encourage all of our people to continue their personal development – whether that it is through our in house training or by us supporting you undertaking a qualification.
